WINDMILL CITY SUPER #1
(PART TIME) RETAIL ASSOCIATE

Looking for a friendly, self-motivated individual with a zeal for independent retail and appreciation of the desert to join our team in a supporting part-time, seasonal position at Windmll City Super #1 (our retail store in Palm Springs).


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day operations of the retail store, including but not limited to: 

    • Customer Service/ Sales: engaging with customers, ringing up sales, acquiring knowledge of products

    • Maintaining presentation and cleanliness of the store

    • Product management, including: receiving, entering inventory and counting inventory

SKILLS

  • Strong interpersonal skills and love for working with the public

  • Detail-oriented

  • Organized

  • Consistent and reliable attendance 

  • Computer proficient

COMMITMENT

  • 2-3 days/week (this is a part-time, seasonal position)

  • Evening & Weekend availability required

COMPENSATION

  • $18/ hour

  • 2% commission of the total in-person sales during hours worked.

Windmill City is a Coachella Valley-based entity of two branches–Windmill City Custom Goods and Super #1.

Windmill City Custom Goods (Thousand Palms, CA) provides quality custom-branded products in the form of screen printing, embroidery, and promotional merch. Super #1 (Palm Springs, CA) is Windmill City’s retail concept in the form of a souvenir shop—providing a space for vacationers and staycationers alike with desert-centric provisions either produced in-house by Windmill City, in collaboration with local artists and designers, or sourced from small businesses with a connection to California. Find our product in-store, online or in stockists such as REI Rancho Mirage and the Palm Springs International Airport.
